The main intention is to make it easy and straightforward for users to enter the crypto mining business. BitMOR provides equipment, housing and hosting services.

Jason Engle, president of BitMOR explained:

“What we’ve tried to do is just make it simple. We’ve got an easy approach that lets people purchase the machines through us, we’ll set them up for them, and they can be mining the same day that they’ve paid their invoice.”

Two California telecommunications companies and Engle were working together in order to create the BitMOR business, as the Argus Leader reports. Such creation was in order to meet the rising demand for crypto services. At the same time, South Dakota has an advantage as a place for crypto mining operations.

Additionally, BitMOR provides software tools for customers that want to monitor their machines in real time from their mobile devices, including a smartphone or tablet. The process is very simple, says BitMOR. A customer can purchase a computer, receive setup, software and host for a year. After it, BitMOR charges a monthly basis for ongoing hosting after a year.

At the same time, BitMOR sells the Antminer S9 ASIC and the BitMOR B6 and B8 BPU mining rigs for Ethereum. The company specializes in BTC and ETH mining, but other cryptos can be mined as well.

Engle explained:

“What people don’t realize is you’re not so confined to space, because the machines themselves are very small. It’s more can you get reliable energy, can you get reliable energy, can you get a significant amount of energy in the building, and then once you’ve got those pieces put together, can you distribute that energy throughout your building in a way that you can bundle these machines very tightly together.”

Engle is sure that the facility owned by BitMOR is able to face any challenges posed by the crypto mining industry. The farm is secure, has redundant fiber connections and all the cooling equipment required to keep with the operations.

At the same time, they have installed the 115-ton HVAC unit so as to cool the mining machines and upgrade the building’s power. In this way, each machine receives a dedicated 20-amp line. In addition to it, the site is monitored 24/7 and the environment at the facility is controlled at all times.

Crypto mining activities have been growing in the last years and more during the last bull run in the market. BitMOR is trying to establish itself as a reliable and important company in South Dakota.
