Bitfinex releases Reporting Tools version 2.5; adds 5 new features for traders

2019-4-8 18:30

With the collective cryptocurrency market turning green after Bitcoin broke its $5,000 resistance, many traders are now of the opinion that the ‘crypto-winter’ is finally over. This, in effect, translates to an imminent rise in trade frequency over the next few weeks as more and more investors pour in their money into the market.

In light of these developments, Bitfinex, a Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency exchange, updated its Reporting Tools for optimized trading and providing investors with more choices with respect to features that would let them gauge the market better. The latest update, version 2.5, boasts five new important features that will help traders better manage their funds and time.

According to a Medium post by Bitfinex, a completely new ‘Active Positions’ section was rolled out in the update. This section will help users meticulously evaluate their active positions, and will list out the “status, amount, positive/negative values, funding types and amounts used for each position.”

Further, investors will also have access to information relating to leverage, liquidation price, and profit/loss percentages, among others. Users will also be able to audit their active positions.

A new Public Funding Trades section has also been added to the system. This will help users evaluate the funding amounts, rates and periods of different currencies within a specific time frame.

The new update also makes copying data from the system easy as users will now be able to copy their ledger charts as they are onto Google Sheets, Excel or any other similar application. This update includes a new component which will help investors copy data from multiple cells at once.

A new ‘Funding Earnings’ section has also been added where users can clearly see their overall earnings. According to Bitfinex, this will help users have improved control over funding activities. However, this section can only be accessed when the user is in the ‘sync mode.’

Apart from these new updates, Bitfinex has also included some generic improvements and a refactored back-end in the update.
