This code is subsequently stored within the decentralized Worldcoin blockchain, safeguarding it against replication attempts by others. Those who get their eyes scanned receive WLD tokens in return. While Worldcoin (WLD) does have the potential for beneficial use cases, concerns have been raised about its security and privacy risks.
