Bitcoin & Ethereum Take Over Twitter

According to CoinTrendz, over the past day, there were over 2,000 tweets related to Bitcoin which tops the list of most crypto mentions and beats the other leading digital currencies, Ethereum and XRP and with NANO at the bottom of the top ten with over 450 tweets.

Over the past day, here are the most mentioned cryptos on Twitter

As previously mentioned, Bitcoin had over 2,000 tweets over the past day Ethereum was discussed in over 1,150 different tweets Ripple’s XRP token had over 850 tweets yesterday Litecoin had more than 770 tweets over the past day NEO had over 640 Stellar had more than 580 TRON had over 570 Cardano had more than 500 tweets Omisego had 500+ tweets And as aforementioned, NANO had over 450 tweets over the past day

This shows that different digital currencies are being talked about all time through social platforms. However, Twitter isn’t the only outlet that people use to find out news about their favourite coins.

Recently, Bitcoin and Beyonce have been in a race to top the Google trends and now Ariana Grande has jumped into the mix. Over the past 24 hours, Bitcoin seemed to end up with more searches than Ariana Grande but couldn’t seem to beat Beyonce.

Yesterday, Google reported that there were triple the number of searches for Bitcoin than there was for Beyonce. This is further evidence that digital currencies are popular and in Bitcoins case, more popular than some of the biggest pop stars in the world.

Bitcoin posted a 24-hour increase among users of Redditors, with Bitcoin-related subreddits and showed a 31% gain in interest with Bitcoin. Amongst the top ten coins on CoinMarketCap, XRP posted the highest gain in interest at 78% which is followed by Bitcoin Cash at 39%.

Bitcoin is currently in the red with a 0.76% dip over the past day and is priced at $6,569.42 at the current time of writing and a similar situation is seen in Ethereum as it’s also in the red with a 0.34% drop and is priced at $226.16
