Bitcoin [BTC]: Paxful launches crypto-wallet; announces plans to spread crypto-awareness

Ray Youssef, Co-founder and CEO of Paxful, has announced the official launch of their crypto-wallet. Paxful is a peer-to-peer Bitcoin market place, which had previously promised to give away Bitcoins to all those who attend their workshops and download their wallet app.

In a statement announcing the launch, the Co-founder said that Paxful understood that Bitcoin was now a mainstream element of lifestyle and business transactions. Paxful also claimed that the wallet app was launched after extensive discussions with its own customers. With the launch of the crypto-wallet, Paxful aims to make the purchase, sale and storage of Bitcoins easier.

The wallet will provide secure storage and work effortlessly through the Paxful website. The wallet is available on Android and iOS devices. Ray Youssef is also looking towards launching various workshops in the South African continent in May 2019 to educate the populace about Bitcoin. The workshop will start in South Africa and Kenya, followed by Ghana and Nigeria. Paxful’s main agenda is to create awareness about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies amongst the youth in Africa.

For beginners, the workshop will provide insights on the very basics of Bitcoin, covering topics like – introduction and more. For a more experienced audience, it will look at giving details like – Recent innovations, the current status of the Bitcoin, what is the future and more.

According to Ray Youssef,

“As a values-driven company, we want to make the Bitcoin economy accessible for everyone, especially the underbanked. To this end, we would like to reach as many young people as possible to help them understand the digital currency market and transact safely and with confidence. Our aim is to continue to partner with customers and other key stakeholders to ensure they are well informed about the opportunities presented by peer-to-peer finance.”
