Bitcoin [BTC] and Litecoin [LTC] Price Analysis: Bears dominate BTC, while bulls give LTC hope

Bitcoin [BTC] has maintained a strong upward trajectory thanks to its bull charge in early April, and continues to make room for no prominent resistance. While BTC retains the top position in terms of value, Litecoin [LTC] has gained prominence among investors too.

Bitcoin [BTC]

The largest crypto-asset on CoinMarketCap witnessed a 2.81% spike in its price over the last 24-hours.

The digital asset held a market cap of $95.14 billion with a 24-hour trading volume of $14.13 billion, at press time. The coin recorded consistent growth and was valued at $5,383.18. Additionally, BTC recorded 2.37% of its trading via the pair LTC/BTC on Coineal.

Awesome Oscillator: The closing bars of the indicator were red and predicted continuing bearish pattern for the highest valued coin.

MACD: The MACD line was also slightly below the signal line, exhibiting a bearish pattern for Bitcoin’s valuation.

Relative Strength Index: The RSI indicator was closer to the oversold zone, a sign of the selling pressure being more than the buying pressure.

Litecoin [LTC]

The price of Litecoin is following a bearish trend since the mid-April. This bearish trend had been ongoing after the bulls were resisted around the $96 price level. At press time, LTC was trading at $73.86.

Litecoin held a market cap of $4.5 billion with a 24-hour trading volume of $3.1 billion, at press time.

Parabolic SAR: The dotted markers were above the candlesticks, implying a bearish price pattern for the coin.

Klinger Oscillator: The KO suggested that a bullish crossover may be in the offing soon.

Chaikin Money Flow: CMF suggested a gradual change in bearish trend since investments were starting to flow into the market.

Conclusion

Bitcoin [BTC] continued to struggle against bearish pressure, despite no major gains. On the other hand, Litecoin was expected to turn bullish in the near future.
