Binance, a leading digital asset-related platform globally, has expressed its collaboration with INHOPE, an international platform that addresses child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on the internet. The alliance will connect with higher child protection worldwide by implementing blockchain transparency and sophisticated investigative solutions. As the application of digital assets rises, there is a question of whether it will be used and misused in criminal activities.

Binance has made some efforts to prevent abuse of its platform by enforcing close surveillance and investigation procedures. To ensure compliance, the exchange has a special compliance unit that collaborates with international law enforcers and child protection networks. Focusing on coordinating with INHOPE, Binance seeks to break chains of crime that exploit cryptocurrency to share or profit off of CSAM.

Binance has incorporated top-quality blockchain analytics in its compliance program. These technologies allow tracking the movement of any cryptocurrency and detecting illicit transactions related to CSAM and other child exploitation. The systems used in the platform can identify patterns in behavior and transaction anomalies that can indicate whether a crime is taking place.

Binance contributes to the worldwide enforcement operation by regularly providing law enforcement agencies with actionable intelligence. This involves technical assistance in conducting live investigations and compliance training for both the public and the privately involved stakeholders. The goal is to enhance the capability of authorities to investigate crimes that involve digital assets successfully.

In March 2025, Binance facilitated “Operation Stream,” a large-scale global criminal operation that resulted in the takedown of Kidflix. This site allegedly had almost two million users engaged in circulating CSAM. The exchange partnered with German and Dutch officials to facilitate forensics and blockchain tracing that enabled it to know over 120 suspects.

According to this operation, the power of a public-private partnership in maligning online criminal networks was demonstrated. Binance has increased its efforts to enhance initiatives that secure vulnerable people through the use of technology, compliance, and international collaboration.
