Market analyst CredibleCrypto has set eyes on Curve DAO (CRV), saying it could soon outperform Ethereum (ETH). In a recent post, he compared CRV’s setup to XRP’s and explained why both tokens may soon show stronger gains than ETH.

CredibleCrypto explained that CRV/USD has just retested a key high-timeframe monthly demand zone. This follows almost a full year of sideways action, where the price moved inside a tight consolidation range. His chart shows that Curve broke out of that range and is now pulling back to retest it as support. From a technical view, that kind of retest often sets the stage for a bigger upward move.

The analyst also highlighted CRV/ETH, which has retraced most of its previous rally and is now back near the area where its last major breakout began. On his second chart, two colored zones (orange and green) mark potential demand areas. He believes the pair is testing these levels right now, making a bounce increasingly likely. A recovery from these areas would mean Curve is gaining strength compared to Ethereum.

Another point in his argument is Ethereum’s own position. CredibleCrypto notes that ETH/USD has probably finished a five-wave impulse from its lows and now sits near its old all-time high. Historically, many large-cap coins pause or correct when they revisit such key resistance. If ETH takes a breather, it gives room for other tokens like CRV to shine.

Looking closely at the charts he shared supports this case. The monthly CRV/USD chart shows a clean breakout from a long wedge pattern, followed by a measured pullback toward strong support around the 0.70 dollar region. Volume during the breakout phase was significant, hinting at committed buyers. Meanwhile, the CRV/ETH chart reveals a long downtrend that has now flattened, with price hugging a historical demand block where past rallies have started.

Of course, no prediction is certain, but the setup looks constructive. CRV has quietly compressed for months and now sits on strong technical footing. If Ethereum slows near its highs and Curve keeps defending this key demand zone, a period where CRV outpaces ETH could indeed follow. Traders will watch whether Curve can hold above these support levels and start a fresh trend in the coming weeks.
