Ben Delo, an Oxford graduate and co-founder of the BitMEX exchange, has become Britain's youngest billionaire, according to the Daily Mail on July 2.

Delo, 34, founded BitMEX in 2014. He used to spend up to 18 hours a day building his platform. Their work paid off, and by far, as BitMEX is currently one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges on the market. They now have an average daily trading volume of around $2 billion dollars, according to Coinmarketcap.

He graduated from Worcester University, Oxford in 2005 with a first class degree, specializing in mathematics and computer science. With experience as a software engineer at IBM and assistant vice president at JP Morgan, the UK's youngest Bitcoin billionaire (BTC) is now based in Hong Kong.

You can see him now trying to imitate the frugal lifestyle of American billionaire investor Warren Buffett and businessman Bill Gates. He has stated on several occasions that he would rather donate his money to various charities than spend it on luxurious eccentricities.

In January, a representative of BitInfoCharts stated that there were no fewer than 35 Bitcoin billionaires worldwide. And this figure could be more accurate if you estimate it to be about 200 lucky ones.

With the December 2017 rise, the Winklevoss brothers were named by the press as “the first Bitcoin billionaires”. Possessing about 91,666 bitcoins, for a value of approximately 1,063 million dollars at that time.

If the market reaches new highs in the future, the number of billionaires may increase as well.
