The ASEAN Financial Innovation Network (AFIN) announced today the appointment of H.E SereyChea, Prof. Olayinka David-West as Advisors and Ms LathaAyyar as Independent Director to its Board.

Through their respective roles, they will bring in invaluable expertise in financial platforms, innovation and digital technologies to propel the growth of AFIN and its flagship product, API Exchange (APIX). APIX is a global cloud-based digital platform with a focus on financial inclusion, that enables financial institutions and FinTechs to discover one another on a curated global marketplace, design experiments collaboratively in the sandbox and deploy innovative solutions rapidly at a lower cost.

H.E. SereyChea is the Assistant Governor and Director General of Central Banking of the National Bank of Cambodia. She also holds multiple roles in organisations that promote financial inclusion and organisations focused on building leaders of tomorrow.

Prof Olayinka David-West is currently the Dean of Lagos Business School. She has rich experience of more than 20 years in academia and previously held various roles in strategising the use of digital technologies for business and society.

Ms LathaAyyar is a Singaporean with over 25 yearsof diverse experience in leading Operations & Technology and setting up Digital businesses across financial institutions (Citi, Bharti AXA, Barclays) across geographies. She is currently the COO in India for Barclays US Consumer Banking Business. She has extensive experience in pioneering new and emerging technologies to transform business models.
