Bitcoin 2022 Industry Day, known as Whale Day in the past, will unite the Bitcoin (BTC/USD) ecosystem of companies and projects for a day of collaboration, learning, and networking on April 6 this year.

A wide variety of content will be covered, such as how the traditional financial system and its institutions are interacting with the Bitcoin ecosystem, a detailed exploration of the mining industry, and the ways, in which the developer community is partnering with companies and open source projects.

‍Guidance, predictions, and regulation issues  

Bitcoin 2022 Industry Day will cover forecasts, guidance, and regulatory issues, compliance costs for big and small companies, how to raise funds, market opportunities to address, and what to look for when making an investment.

Industry Day will showcase the industry’s evolution into the largest and most important sector worldwide in the next ten years.

Industry Day has been customized to accelerate companies interacting with the Bitcoin ecosystem. It will be attended by more than 6,000 global industry leaders with 80 speakers and 4,000 companies.

Meet and greet with top execs

The event will include a meet and greet with the most powerful executives operating within the Bitcoin ecosystem, startups, venture capitalists, high-net-worth individuals, funds, investors, and more. Attendees can meet hundreds of investors looking for opportunities in the space.

Speakers

Among the most notable speakers will be Jack Mallers, the CEO and founder of Strike, Nayib Bukele, President of El Salvador, and Michael Saylor, Chairman and CEO of MicroStrategy.

Strike is a leading digital wallet that runs on Bitcoin’s Lightning Network. For the last ten years of his life, Jack Mallers has been in the Bitcoin space, propelling developments in distributed systems architecture and infrastructure.

El Salvador was the first (and so far only) country in the world to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender. MicroStrategy has huge holdings in Bitcoin and is very positive about the asset.  

Other speakers include Elizabeth Stark, CEO of Lightning Labs, Saifedean Ammous, author of The Bitcoin Standard, Adam Back, CEO of Blockstream, Jo Jorgensen, President of the Board of People For Liberty, and Preston Pysh, cofounder of The Investors Podcast Network.
