Taiwanese consumer electronics company HTC has launched its newest smartphone flagship, a spin off of the HTC12+,  can only be purchased with cryptocurrencies ; Bitcoin and Ethereum precisely. Dubbed as “Exodus 1”, the smartphone comes with a remarkable super feature, an inbuilt “Secure Enclave” backed by the highly secured trusted zone technology which gives users access to the Zion digital wallet, enabling users to store their API keys. The smart phone costs $960 ; 0.15 in Bitcoin and 4.78 in Ethereum.

CEO of Blockduino, Marco Graziano commented on the importance of the digital wallet saying ;

“A built-in multi-crypto wallet is a great thing for the more than 30 million people around the world with a digital wallet today. It also means that with the Exodus 1, you will not need a separate hardware wallet like a secure USB key to store your cryptocurrency offline.”

HTC’s collaboration with the Zion wallet helps to eliminate the issue of users losing their cryptocurrency tokens. The social key recovery feature allows users to give a maximum of five trusted parties access to a piece of the user’s private keys and upon recovery, anyone of the users are contacted to help provide their piece password.

The company also plans to introduce a software development kit, the SDK will give other software developers permission to access the Zion digital wallet where they can write secure applications.
