KuCoin, a global crypto platform, hosted a fireside chat at TOKEN2049 in Singapore with CEO BC Wong and newly appointed Global Brand Ambassador Adam Scott.

The session, moderated by Alicia Kao, explored the unexpected parallels between professional golf and the crypto industry, centred on the values of trust, precision, and resilience.

The event also marked the unveiling of KuCoin’s new brand slogan: “Trust First. Trade Next. Trust Is the Currency We Trade In.”

Adam Scott emphasised how these values have guided his career at the highest level of golf.

“Golf is both a physical and a mental challenge, especially in high-pressure moments. Trusting in your preparation allows a golfer to execute with complete confidence,” he said.

Scott also underlined the importance of resilience in both sports and life.

“Setbacks are part of the game, especially with so many variables outside of your control. The ability to adapt to every challenge is essential, both on and off the course.”

BC Wong highlighted how mastering values like trust, precision, and resilience translates directly into success in cryptocurrency.

“Trust draws users in, precision keeps operations smooth, and resilience ensures longevity, all of which help to build a loyal community in the competitive crypto space,” he said.

He went on to recap KuCoin’s $2 billion Trust Project, launched at TOKEN2029 in Dubai five months earlier, which focuses on securing new global licenses and compliant entities to drive the platform’s worldwide growth.

Adam Scott also shared why he chose to partner with KuCoin as its first global brand ambassador, noting the alignment between the company’s values and his own.

He spoke fondly of Singapore and his experiences playing its top courses. The Australian pro golfer, a former world number one and 2013 Masters Tournament champion, remains a regular competitor on the PGA Tour.

KuCoin’s decision to appoint Adam Scott as its first global brand ambassador reflects the exchange’s broader mission to reshape perceptions of the crypto industry while emphasising long-term growth and sustainability.

Confirmed in the role in September 2025, Scott stated:

He also unveiled KIA, an AI product set to launch soon, alongside pursuing regulatory licenses in additional markets.
