Achain’s Tony Cui Launches ALabs Blockchain Research Institute At Sogang University Meetup

Professors from the University and other Achain delegates attended the event. The founder, Tony was heard giving a short speech at the event.

The event was opened by Moonki Hwang, a professor from the School of Economics at Sogan University. Hwang gave shout outs to both involved parties, congratulating them on attending the meeting since it’s important for the two parties to work together.

Hwang also spoke about the partnership of Sogang University and Achain as they are expected to come together to even more to create a possible MOU to be signed in the Fall.

Tony also spoke at the conference from a remote location, pushing for the important of research being conducted in Korea and China. Other important aspects are the development of the decentralized technology that is being completed at these places as well. Cui was heard to say that the collaboration of the two entities will provide groundbreaking support for both sides and how blockchain tech develops in the two countries (Chin and South korea).

“Sogang University has a huge talent pool and are pioneering in many areas of scientific research. It’s an honor for me and for Achain to co-organize this conference. Blockchain technology is relatively new. There are many potentials to be uncovered. I believe working together making us move faster in the blockchain realm.”

During the event, Tony spoke about the founding of the ALabs platform. The new announcement was shortly followed by different individuals from ALabs, who introduced the functionality of the system and their overall vision.

ALabs also focuses on technology breakthroughs surrounding blockchain technology, main frames, scalability and management. The labs will also release reports on the research conducted from time to time, so others can benefit from the wealth of knowledge deducted from the last round of research. Other focuses are on making new blockchain improvements according to the needs of specific industries offered by ALabs.

After following ALabs’ new project intro, other developers out of South Korea gave a presentation on their own projects involving blockchain technology. Paygate and Hexlant, showed the strengths and advantages that comes with using Ethereum early on, also asking for more cooperation from ALabs.

The new meeting was successful for the both the company and university. Achain has other successful conferences as wall, mainly with the developers of the countries they are run in like the US and Vietnam. The new strategy around blockchain technology has helped improve relationships between companies like Google and IBM.

The purpose of cooperating with the Sogang University is a smart move for Achain, sure to give the company a huge boost in South Korea as well as the rest of the world.
