Reddit has always had a finger (or fingers) on the metaphorical pulse of cryptocurrencies and blockchain. On the 11th of August, Redditors brought up that advertisements for TRON have been appearing on the uTorrent application.

The advertisement was keenly pointed out by the Reddit user EffectiveWait when he was visiting the application, who saw the banner advertisement while trying to check for the download statuses.

“The banner advertisement reads: ‘TRON is building infrastructure for a truly decentralized internet. TRX, Join the Revolution.”

The discovery of the TRON banner advertisement comes at the same time that uTorrent's recent nomination and successful enrollment into the collection of organizations on its system called ‘Super Representatives.'

The CEO and founder of TRON, Justin Sun, announced on Twitter, the successful enrollment of uTorrent to the Super Representatives population after its successful election.

“µTorrent got elected by the community to become #TRONSR … We welcome the community to keep voting! $TRX”

Sun's excited announcement of uTorrent's success was followed by the Vice President of Engineering of uTorrent, David Rees talking about Tron Super Representative and the Tron community. The Vice President stated that it intended to leverage the company's experience in the realm of peer to peer technology to provide support for TRON's community, including uTorrent's own experience with cryptocurrencies.

The cryptocurrency experience comes from uTorrent's own desire to play a major role with the crypto market and, to uTorrent, the ‘obvious partner' for them was TRON. The Vice President's comments were followed almost immediately by an outpour of positivity from the Reddit community.

While uTorrent is a well-known name in the world of technology and cryptocurrency, it's not the first of its kind after the BitTorrent acquisition which whipped up a large amount of excitement within the crypto community.

Within the TRON Foundation, the role that Super Representatives have is one that requires a significantly hands-on approach, along with being diligent in resolving issues and interacting with the community at large.

The Super Representative candidates will oversee the minute workings of the Foundation and carry forward commands that will have direct implications on the Tron Network.

With TRON developing at a significantly fast rate, it's also launching a number of projects in the future, the Super Representative role was set up to manage any mishaps which may occur on the system.
