Tron, the 8th largest blockchain and crypto company, released its weekly report for the week ending January 25 today.

The report is available in 14 languages including English, Farsi, Dutch, French, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, German, Hindi, Korean, Russian, Turkish, Japanese, Spanish and Arabic.

What Did Tron Get up to Over the Week?

Tron notified the users that it has completed the work on optimized event subscription function and tested the verification for smart contract address format.

It is continuing to work on multi-signature wallet testing and design and implementation of TVM modularization in smart contracts.

Tron’s big event during the week was the nITRON Summit held in San Francisco, US. The event was attended by Tron founder Justin Sun as well as basketball star Kobe Bryant.

The TRON developer contest also ended with $1 million divided between 113 blockchain projects. The projects have already been launched on the Tron’s official app platform.

The project also announced that the launch event of BTT (BitTorrent token) which will be available on the Binance Launchpad platform this week.

More BTT will be airdropped to Tron holders over the course of the next few months. The project also became a sponsor for the Binance Blockchain week.

Developer Updates and More

During the week, Tron held one-to-one meetings with the winners of Tron Accelerator. The Tron-grid v2 testing has finished, and it is now being upgraded.

The development of wallet v 1.4.2 has been completed, and it will be launched soon.

Tron added 41 new dApps to DAppHouse and created a new dedicated section for the winners of the Tron Accelerator program.

Several exchanges and wallet service providers from across the globe announced their support for the BTT airdrop.

Among them were Huobi, CoinTiger, Bithumb, Bibox, FCoin, OKEx, MBAex, CoinEx, Cobo Wallet and Gate.io.
