Tron (TRX) Reaches A Milestone At 3 Million Transactions In A Single Day, Smashing Old Record

Most investors and enthusiasts for cryptocurrency tend to only expect to see bad news during a bear market, but there are plenty of ways to remain hopeful. Tron, for example, is having a moment of celebration as they obliterate a former record they held for daily transactions. This follows a string of positive increases for many of the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market cap.

In the advancements that Tron has made, it has set its ambitions high, towards reaching the number one spot on the charts. However, they happened to reach a new high with three million transactions in a single day. Only a few days ago, they had reached the two-million mark, which means that they are progressing at phenomenal speeds.

Many people jumped to Twitter to voice their enthusiasm. One user, CryptoG20, said,

“Nice! It goes to show some people don’t understand a transaction on the Tron blockchain is a blockchain transaction. Real use case? It’s a real transaction. Use: that’s the case. Looking forward to see how Tron ecosystem evolves! #TRX”

Another user, Misha Lederman, brought up the monumental milestone as well, suggesting that Tron is becoming more powerful by the day. Justin Sun, founder and CEO for Tron, took advantage of the moment as well, proudly proclaiming that it had taken only 173 days for their platform to process 100 million transactions. With this progress, it isn’t a leap to say that their dApps may soon share that progress.

Discussing his faith that another 80+ dApps will make it to their platform this month, he added, “Now we have 39 Dapps built on #TRON. Half way to go!” The Tron Foundation hasn’t let up at all in their goals to make the platform a welcoming place for developers, and they’re working to reduce energy costs while increasing their limits. In the meantime, users now have access to the Tron Arcade, a new 100-million fund that will help gaming developers to make progress. The fund is in effect for the next three years.
