The Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has recently launched its cryptocurrency data feed for price discovery in the market. The information was released by the ICE in a blog post a few days ago.

With this feed, the intention is to increase transparency and have a better view related to the crypto market. The feed will have real-time and historical data for the most popular and used cryptocurrencies in the market.

The ICE wrote about it:

“Access to price discovery data is crucial to assist in accurately valuing the crypto market. To help address the need for transparency and offer investors a comprehensive view, we worked with Blockstream to launch the ICE Cryptocurrency Data Feed.”

This new enhanced data feed will offer an extensive portfolio of venues, tick-by-tick price discovery, comprehensive historical data, statistics, a best-in-class infrastructure and also complementary products, among other improvements.

Some of the cryptocurrency assets available are Augur (REP), Cardano (ADA), Basic Attention Token (BAT), Bitcoin (BTX), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Bitcoin SV (BSV), Bitcoin Gold (BTG), Dash, Decentraland (MANA), EOS, Ether (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Litecoin (LTC), MIOTA (IOT), Monero (XMR), Tether (USDT), Tron (TRX) and many others.

There will also be several digital currencies available including Argentine Peso (ARS), Chinese Yuan (CNY), Euro (EUR), Hong Kong Dollar (HKD), Indian Rupee (INR), Pound Sterling (GBP), and United States Dollar (USD), among others.

ICE is the company behind Bakkt, which is trying to offer cryptocurrency-related services to investors all over the world. The intention is to launch bitcoin futures trading during the next months. Bakkt has been specifically designed for institutional investors.

This feed will be transmitting real-time data over ICE’s high-speed network to a wide range of hedge funds and trading firms from different countries. The crypto market continues to grow and different firms are already starting to offer better services and products.
