Liquor Delivery Service Boozeat Plans to Make it Easier to Get Liquor, Hopes to Accept Cryptocurrency in Future

After Malaysia’s 2018 elections, Boozeat, a liquor delivery service, picked up an interesting trend among liquor users. They discovered that, while most people preferred to enjoy their drink at home for about three years, there’s a growing trend of taking celebrations outside.

Having noticed this, the liquor delivery service is introducing a unique model that will serve customers and brand owners better. The development of the new model took less than a month, whereas pilot testing, logistical preparations and operation testing took around two months.

Boozeat was launched four years ago, focusing on business-to-business delivery service. This time, it aims to connect alcohol brands to their customers directly, which means it will no longer need to store liquor in its facility.

When a customer makes an order, the liquor brand will receive it directly, and a driver will be sent to deliver the requested package.

“We will work closely with brand owners to optimize conversion, since we’ve identified our strength to be in digital marketing,” said one of the company’s financial executives Suet Li.

The benefits of the new module are expected to trickle down all the way to the end of the supply chain – the consumer. They will be aware of any promotions or latest stocks from the liquor companies. The brand owners, on the other hand, will understand better their market to deliver even better services.

Boozeat has more good news for its consumers. The platform is working hard to collaborate with Zcoin, something that will see it accept cryptocurrency payments in the near future.
