What Is The Community Preparing For Bitcoin’s 10th Anniversary On January 3?

Bitcoin (BTC) will be celebrating its anniversary on January 3rd. However, there is no official way to commemorate Bitcoin’s birthday since there is no central authority informing about what will happen in the space. Most of the companies in the space will be suggesting how to remember the creation of the most valuable virtual currency in the market.

Although we will soon be celebrating Bitcoin’s birthday, the truth is that there is not even an agreement regarding the official launch of Bitcoin and when it was created. On January 3, Satoshi Nakamoto, the anonymous creator of Bitcoin, mined the genesis block. However, on October 31, he published the white paper.

Some individuals would like to purchase an exclusive hardware wallet, or a Bitcoin watch or any other item related to Bitcoin. However, it is not necessary to have a lot of money. It is possible to purchase a t-shirt or something similar that would have Bitcoin’s logo.

Although crypto users are very enthusiastic about this date, mainstream media is not very positive about it. Mainstream media has been very negative with Bitcoin and all that this digital asset was able to achieve during its first ten years.

During Bitcoin’s anniversary, Twitter and social media will be full of comments and posts related to Bitcoin and all the things it allowed for. Furthermore, there will be some predictions related to how far Bitcoin can go in the next ten years. Another discussion that will be present is related to quantum computing and how it can change Bitcoin in the next decade.

There will be some exchanges and wallets that will be offering withdrawal discounts, zero trading fees and more. Other exchanges could offer trading contests for traders and give interesting prizes as gifts.

This is Bitcoin’s most significant birthday up to date, and 40 years will have to pass until we celebrate its 50th anniversary. Now is a good time to remember about the positive aspects of the virtual currency and how it will be facing the current challenges it has in front.

Bitcoin remains the largest virtual currency in the market and the dominant one. There is no other virtual currency that was able to challenge Bitcoin’s supremacy and position during the last 10 years.
