However, GBTC is up 95% year to date while the discount has narrowed to roughly 40%, which was as low as 50% in January 2023. In addition, ETHE is up 83% year to date, while the ETHE discount has narrowed to 51%; it was as low as 60% in January 2023. Meanwhile, Bitcoin is up 72%, and Ethereum is up 60% yearly. A lot of volatility could occur next week, with the Shanghai upgrade looming.
