Американский инвестиционный банк готов последовать за криптовалютным трендом.

Известный американский инвестиционный банк Goldman Sachs, согласно сообщениям СМИ, обсуждает возможность предложения своим клиентам широкого спектра финансовых услуг, связанных с криптовалютами. Предполагается, что сначала такие услуги будут предлагаться клиентам организации с большим инвестиционным счетом (от 25 млн долларов, уже вложенных в различные инвестиционные продукты организации) — в этом Goldman Sachs может пойти по тому же пути, что и их коллеги из Morgan Stanley.

Еще общая черта, которая может проявиться в действии двух финансовых гигантов, — это ориентация на работу с инвестиционными структурами и продуктами, которые уже обеспечивают доступ инвесторов к вложениям в биткоины. Так, Morgan Stanley обдумывает вопрос о взаимодействии с биткоин-фондами. Goldman Sachs же недавно подал в американскую Комиссию по ценным бумагам и биржам заявление на регистрацию нового биржевого инвестиционного фонда (ETF), который может вкладывать средства в том числе в биткоины.

Однако в сообщении о Goldman Sachs есть нечто особенное: инвестиционный банк обсуждает возможность открытия для своих клиентов опции прямой покупки биткоинов. Кроме того, ведется речь о такой широкой палитре финансовых продуктов и инструментов для работы с криптовалютами, что можно говорить о еще одном знаковом шаге в мире классических инвестиций навстречу биткоину.

Предполагается, что такой новый ассортимент финансовых услуг может быть доступен в Goldman Sachs уже во втором квартале текущего года. Как заявила Мэри Рич, которая недавно возглавила глобальное подразделение Goldman Sachs по работе с цифровыми активами, «у нас есть ощущение, что мы находимся в начале эры нового интернета, и мы ищем пути, чтобы участвовать в этом».
