In preparation for the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of AirBNB, FTX exchange has listed the derivative contacts for the company.

Airbnb wants to roll out the IPO of Nasdaq tomorrow, as the firm confirmed it will be listing its shares at a price between $56 and $60. Last night, ABNB stock was listed initially at $60. However, today the stock has added $10 to its price and currently trading at $80. The contracts, when launched today will follow the stock price of Airbnb at the end of its first public trading today.

After today, the contracts, along with the respective Airbnb stock, are expected to roll over fractional stock contracts.

FTX has been in the news lately, as the company tries to grab a substantial share of the market with some big moves. In October, FTX started trading on Facebook, Netflix, Amazon, and Tesla. That means, traders can trade on these stocks through the FTX platform. Presently, FTX’s derivatives platform has a 24-hour trading volume, which has reached $2.4 billion.

As of yesterday, crypto traders looking to own some Airbnb stocks can do that via a pre-IPO derivatives contract on FTX. It means the value of the contact will be directly related to Airbnb’s market capitalization at the end of the first trading day.

According to FTX, the derivatives contracts “will automatically roll over to Fractional Stocks contracts” when the first trading day for the product ends. The contract also stipulates that FTX will have the sole right of rolling back trades on the ABNB product if the company’s stock could not list and trade publicly before March next year.

Presently, the Airbnb derivatives contract is not available on FTX US, but only on the main FTX exchange. However, the stocks will be available in the future, as FTX has stated.

The ambition of the IPO is a huge one as the online rental firm has placed an IPO tarted of $3 billion. This will make it one of the largest IPOs in recent times.
