With the crypto bull run heating up, some investors are starting to wonder where the biggest upside might be. Should they stick with Ethereum? Or are newer Layer 1s like Sui or Solana better bets for a fast 10x return?

A video from Altcoin Buzz, a well-known crypto YouTube channel with over 460,000 followers, compares Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and Sui (SUI) to figure out which one could explode faster in this cycle.

Let’s break down what they said in detail.

Altcoin Buzz begins with Ethereum. They point to the Pectra upgrade as a major catalyst. This upgrade brings a lot of new features that improve the Ethereum experience for developers and users alike.

With Smart Accounts, users can now do batch transactions, pay gas in tokens like USDC instead of ETH, and even sign in using biometrics or passkeys. Ethereum also introduced blobs to reduce Layer 2 costs and doubled the blob capacity per block, which has already led to cheaper transactions. A future upgrade called Fusaka is expected to double it again.

In terms of performance, ETH has gained 41% in the past month. It even had a rare 20% daily spike, the first of its kind in four years. At the time of the video, the ETH price ranged between $2,400 and $2,700, but Altcoin Buzz believes it could rise to $10,000, suggesting a potential 4x from here.

Next, Altcoin Buzz focuses on Solana, calling it a steady performer. They reference the Solana Accelerate conference held in New York between May 19 and 23, which highlighted the network’s progress.

Based on Q1 metrics shared by Messari, Solana saw its chain GDP rise by 20% to $1.2 billion, stablecoin market cap surge 145% to $12.5 billion, and daily DEX volume jump 40% to $4.6 billion. The chain continues to upgrade its infrastructure even during market volatility.

However, Altcoin Buzz warns that Solana may not repeat its legendary 171x return from the last bull run. Still, with SOL price hovering around $150–$170, they think a $800–$1,000 range is possible, giving it a 5–6x potential.

Last on the list is Sui, which Altcoin Buzz describes as the most likely 10x play in the group. Despite being hit by the Cedus hack, the SUI ecosystem has bounced back fast. The Base Camp conference held in Dubai in early May attracted attention, and new projects like Nav’i and Suiland are getting investor interest.

Altcoin Buzz also talks about cross-chain collaboration between Solana and Sui. Phantom and Backpack wallets, which were originally Solana-native, now support Sui. Solana’s Clanosaurus NFT project also launched a Sui version called Popkins Unleash, which they see as a bullish signal for SUI’s growing popularity.

At the time of the video, the SUI price was around $3.50, and Altcoin Buzz set a target range between $20 and $25, representing the highest upside among the three.

While Altcoin Buzz doesn’t declare a clear winner, they make it obvious that Sui offers the biggest return potential. Ethereum is the most stable, with strong upgrades driving a steady climb. Solana shows resilience and maturity but may be too big for a 10x leap. In contrast, SUI still has enough room to surprise the market.

In their view, all three have upside in this bull run, but for those chasing the fastest 10x, Sui might just be the one to watch.
