The Brave browser is getting a much-anticipated update on its iOS app. Brave users on iOS can now check their BAT rewards straight from their iPhone.
Finally, iPhone users can check how much BAT is in their Brave browser wallet. With a new update, the wallet is easy to access and available on iOS for the first time. All that’s required is a simple Brave update and you can view the wallet on your iPhone.

Now, users can more easily tip content creators straight from their iPhones. This will also allow BAT to be more accessible for everyday users and should improve the overall ecosystem.
The update is currently live on the App Store.
Continuing to GrowBrave has been exploding in popularity as of late due to its smooth browsing experience. As BeInCrypto reported two months ago, it was the most-downloaded browser on Android phones in Japan.
However, the browser did face some significant backlash over its recently-implemented mandatory KYC measures. All BAT withdrawals to external addresses must be done with accounts that are ID-verified. This struck some BAT fans as being excessive and limits the potential for adoption across the board.
Still, the future of the Brave browser and Basic Attention Token (BAT) seems bright overall. Now with BAT wallets available on both Android and iOS, the Brave team can commit themselves to expand accessibility. Major publishers will expectedly jump on board as the token’s use-cases continue to grow.
The long-term bet for investors is that more uses for BAT will correlate with the token becoming more valuable. As of now, BAT is trading at around $0.24 and its price has been relatively stagnant. It has rebounded significantly from its lows of $0.172 in early September.
