Ethereum and Solana’s Blockchain-based music streaming platform, Audius (AUDIO/USD), has partnered with TikTok for more fan engagement.

The announcement noted that users will be allowed to upload tracks and share them on TikTok. Chief Executive Officer of Audius, Forrest Browning, stated that the partnership ensures that users can download and share music easily and quickly.

He also stated that most of the users do not know that the new feature involves Blockchain technology.

The collaboration is the first time a streaming platform will enable direct sharing to TikTok. Browning, who is close to some of the top-level members at TikTok stated that the partnership will give artists on Audius the opportunity to increase their exposure even more.

Launched in 2018, Audius has grown to become the biggest decentralized consumer Blockchain app by a distance. The platform now has more than 100,000 artists, including deadmau5 and Skrillex.

Apart from its deal with TikTok, the company has also collaborated with Solana Creator Fund as it plans to lure more musicians to its platform.

Audius caters to the needs of upcoming musicians who want to use the platform to reach out to a wide audience base. And like TikTok, the platform does not have any royalty program for musicians. Rather, it offers them the opportunity to engage more fans and establish themselves online. 

Audius will be taking advantage of the massive fan base from TikTok, which has more than 1 billion monthly active users.

The integration will enable users to export songs to TikTok in one click, using the protocol’s features. Both platforms hope that the collaboration will further consolidate on the fast growth they are enjoying at the moment.
