The new booking platform will utilize the Ethereum blockchain with the goal of connecting event planners directly to the representatives of leading celebrities in Australia's entertainment industry.

Associated Celebrity Talent App acts as a blockchain talent booking platform that cuts out the need for middlemen such as agents and representatives for event organizers to connect directly with their entertainment partners.

The Sydney-based project dubbed “the Uber of celebrity entertainment” also claims to be able to increase transparency when they are booking entertainers, contrary to the existing state with middlemen.

“We are proud to have created an on-demand, transformative and commercially disruptive solution,” said CEO Harris Meitanis.

“It's a peer to peer, transformative solution that safeguards the real interests of clients, talent and their representatives and provides transparency and better experience throughout.”

In the interview with The Music Network, Meitanis further extends the capability of their blockchain-powered app to include drastically reducing the time and effort necessary for scouting or booking celebrity appearances by 90 percent. The platform only charges a 10 percent client platform fee (in addition to the talent's fee and capped at $5000) per celebrity booking.

Already mentioned Australian singer Sophie Monk, sports figure Robert Whittaker and media personality Paul McDermott are the lead celebrities to give A.C.T.A a thumbs-up to improving their professional life regarding planning and income. Such reaction portrays the win-win situation that the A.C.T.A app introduces for both the event organizers, celebrities and ultimately the fans. Each party will be able to interact in an independent platform without intermediaries. Minor celebrities will also get an opportunity to get hired for appearances at events without having to deal with the expense of agents by using A.C.T.A.
